Proof the commentators really have nothing to talk about during high speed chases

I was watching yet another high speed chase on the news today when the commentator said, "The suspect is coming up on an intersection where he will once again have to make a decision on whether to go east, west, or continue south." Thank you for that bit of information. I was getting confused there for a minute.
