Graduation day

Things I will remember about my graduation:

Being slightly late and having to try to find my college while other colleges were already proceeding into the graduation area. Luckily we were one of the last ones to be seated.

Seeing all the engineering students stand on their chairs to get a better view....while everyone else was sitting down. (see pictures in gallery)

Going to E3 during the break from the main ceremony and my satellite ceremony. Sometimes it's hard to believe I live in LA.

Sitting through a billion graduates' names while I waited for my name to be called.

Seeing my friends at the front of the audience taking pictures.

Hearing my name pronounce correctly. (Chinese pronounciation, "wong" not "wang")

Seeing TC do a crazy dance while I walked across the stage.

Looking for a way to escape with a bunch of other graduates.

Seeing my friends there.

Even though I don't officially finish for another semester, participating in commencement really makes me feel like I've finished something. The last class is like the cleanup you have to do after a big party. The main event is over, you just have some odds and ends to take care of.

This blog has lasted through another chapter in my life. I wonder what's next.

Thanks to RY, TC, BH, JL, EL, EH, WL, DVJ for coming. Thanks to KG for the flowers. They were very masculine.

You, late? Can't be. Congrats, Jeff. You got to wear the black gown and everything! You're so fancy...

Congrats. But c'mon, let's get down to business. Where's the full report of E3? You know all my friends are talking about it here. PS3 baby!
